Distinctive oscillating tone of Buddhist Tingsha brass bells, from Nepal. The sustaining, soothing sound makes these bells useful in meditation and relaxation. They are also used in traditional Buddhist ceremonies and rituals.
There are two parts to this clip. First, the bells are struck together a single time and the crisp sound resonates for several seconds. Then the bells are struck together three times in a row.
