Top How are Subscription royalties calculated?
Top Can I make more money off Subscriptions than from Pay-as-you-go customers?
Yes. iStock guarantees the same minimum payout of 19¢ for Subscriptions as on the Pay-as-you-go side. Depending on the percentage of each subscriber's credit use within a 24-hour period, the value of your file can go above 19¢ but it will never dip below it. Learn more about royalties.
Top How often will my Subscription stats be updated?
Because Subscription credits expire daily, we'll update them once per day after everything has been tallied (i.e. after midnight for the day before).
Top Are my files opted into Subscription?
As of May 26, 2008, all files uploaded to iStock are opted into Subscriptions. If you are a contributor and you want to control which files are sold to both Pay-as-you-go and Subscription plans just click the 'All Off' button in your Control Panel. You can also opt-out individual files from the 'Edit File' details page.
