All FilesAll FilesYou can request a payout as soon as your account balance reaches $100 USD (or at any point thereafter). Once this balance is met, you can make 2 payout requests per week in any dollar amount. To request a payout, simply contact us via the 'Payment request' option.
You'll have the option of receiving your payout using your Payoneer MasterCard™, PayPal or Moneybookers account, or by cheque. Regardless of what payout option you choose, you will be paid in US dollars.
Since iStockphoto ONLY sends payments to the name and address and email listed in your account, you'll want to make sure this information is up to date before you requesting your payout.
Please note: All payout requests are subject to cut offs of 9AM MST on different days of the week depending on your chosen payment method. Payout requests made before the cut-off deadline will be fulfilled the following week (7 days). Payout requests made after the cut-off deadline will be fulfilled in 2 weeks. After requesting a cheque payout, we will mail a cheque to the name and address listed in your account profile (so please make sure your information is up to date).
Cheques are processed on the 15th and 30th of every month (view payout schedule.) You will be notified by email when your cheque has been processed, printed and mailed. Delivery times vary depending on the postal system. Please allow 1 week for delivery in the continental USA/Canada and 4 to 6 weeks delivery for all other locations.
If you have not received your cheque after 6 weeks it most likely has been lost in the mail. Please contact support, and let us know if your address has changed and when your request was made. Your money is not lost; we will resend payment if necessary.
Cheques are only valid for 6 months, so we recommend that you cash the cheque as soon as possible after receiving it. After 6 months, your cheque will be considered stale dated and most banks will not accept it.
To get paid using PayPal or Moneybookers, simply open a free account at either of those sites and request a payout using our contact form.

Direct deposit is available to US bank account holders only. Deposits will be made ONLY to the bank accounts legally held in the name of the iStock contributor requesting payment. iStockphoto processes Payoneer requests once a week. After iStockphoto has processed your payout, normal turnaround time from Payoneer will be 5 - 10 business days.

Before you are able to make a payment request, you must first receive your MasterCard® and activate it. Once you've done that, please proceed with your payout request.

Once funds are transferred to Payoneer, their processing will be approximately 5-10 business days. Once the request has been processed, Payoneer will issue an email requesting you to accept payment. When you do this, you will be given the option to receive funds in the standard 3 business days or have the transfer expedited for an extra fee (loading occurs within 2 hours). Please note iStock will pay the standard transfer fee on your behalf. Should you choose to have the payment expedited you will be responsible for all associated extra fees.
The Prepaid MasterCard® can be used worldwide at any retail establishment and/or online store that accepts MasterCard®. It may also be used to place mail/telephone orders when a MasterCard® is an acceptable means of payment and to withdraw cash at an ATM.
The ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) may let you obtain funds available on your card. ATM networks consist of many providers. To determine if your card can be used at a particular ATM, look for the logo on the back of the card. If the logo is located on the ATM, your card can be used at that ATM.
Withdrawal limits at ATMs may vary since they are set by the bank issuing the card as well as the company operating the individual ATM device. There may also be fees associated with your ATM transaction that you will be responsible for.
