Description
This is a wooden bridge over a railway line in London, a lonely spot late at night where electric lights bring reassurance. This reassurance is easily swept aside by a spot of urban vandalism. As I prepared to take this photograph, a young man dressed all in grey, fitted out with large dark glasses, climbed up the wooden steps to my left. On seeing me, he paused. 'There's a joke going round.' 'Oh yes?' 'What's a unit of electricity?' 'Go on.' 'No, watts – a unit of electricity.'.
