I still remember the times when everything was soo slow back in 2007/2008. This is nothing.
Maybe not, but I just timed a search for 'baseball bat ball' (don't ask why ) and it took over a minute and a half to come back with results. It's not my local internet connection - I've tested several other sites and they're fast as usual.
Hopefully this is not affecting the site as a whole, I doubt that customers who need content now will be interested in comparing current performance with 2007/2008 when they can just try another site instead.

Hope it's not across the board, but here in Scotland the site seems to be running very s-l-o-w-l-y at the moment.
Searches are completing eventually, but sometimes taking a very long time.
Same thing in Germany. It started yesterday in the evening, was ok today in the morning and during midday and now the site is slow again.

Keep us posted if things deteriorate further. The team is making a few adjustments as I type.
Thanks for posting.

Well folks. I think what we have been seeing in this thread over the last week or so are individual notifications that seem to rectify themselves over a short period of time. This could be more related to your ISP or networky related stuff rather than the sites over all performance.
With this in mind I think it's probably time to retire this thread.
