Just curious who all is going to be at Photoshop World in Las Vegas this year. I'll be hanging out at the Expo (no actual PSW conference pass) and would love to meet up with some fellow iStockers!

W00T! I'm going to be attending this year as well and am REALLY excited about it. When I'm not hanging out at the iStockphoto booth, I'll be hitting as many of the classes as possible, getting my learn on.

You can get free passes to the Expo (not aval until mid-Sept), but the actual PSW conference is $500-$600.

The sweet thing about registering for PSW is that you get a 1 year NAPP membership as part of the deal, which includes 8 issues of Photoshop User magazine, unlimited free Photoshop/Lightroom Help Desk, NAPP member forums (not as cool as ours, but great folks ), and most importantly great discounts on all sorts of hardware, software and training.

Really? I'll have to re-peg you then. I'd heretofore ('cause how often do you get to use that word) pegged you as a fellow 'What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas' kinda gal biggrin

ETA: If you lived as close to Sin City as I do (or went to college in Los Angeles), you'd have found yourself there more times than you care to remember (if you can remember), too. Guaranteed smile It's $49 each way from San Francisco so, pretty cheap. And I'm only going this trip for the day. Never done Vegas like that before. I'm looking forward to just showing up at the airport with a purse and a camera and nothing else. Might actually make the airport/flight experience borderline enjoyable!

I hear ya. But it's worth it for the Vegas-only Cirque du Soleil shows alone. I even dragged my mother to Vegas one year for her birthday, for O at Bellagio. My mother is was as un-Vegas as they come. After the trip, she'd go back in a heartbeat to see more Cirques. I don't gamble, and I don't party (anymore), but I love the Cirque shows. It's a fun city for a day or two, tops.
