Those of us in the USA and Canada will be enjoying (hopefully) a long weekend starting today. This will impact the payout schedule next week, which you all already knew since it has been posted since the start of the year, but I just thought I'd mention it in passing, so here we are.

pointless US holidays which effects all of us through out the world. i think all IS contributors should get US holidays no matter whereever we are.

Canada: Labour Day

US: Labor Day Columbus Day

Loboville: Sleep

AS you can see the Canadian Holiday has more letters in it. That's because we work a whole letter more than they do in the states.

see i told u, totally pointless, rest of the world (most of it) celebtrates labour day on 1st may, Columbus day another pointless holiday which should be totally stop, now the only acceptable reason to take a day off is loboville, so i guess its a holiday.

And i don't get that - if you have a "labo(u)r day", it should mean that you have to work your pies off, not relaxing / sleeping all day long?

ohhhhh holidays!!! why do they have to fall on mondays all the time??

BTW, no idea why the sates celebrate labor day on sep... I found it pretty weird too when I first moved up here.

I think they (canadians) actually type "colour" taavet...and the accent reflects the frenchiness too >.<
