/Again thank you everyone. We have completed our first day of driving and are in New Jersey tonight. Tomorrow we hope to be in North Carolina. We talked all day long about the stories and notes that you left us. Made the time fly by.
We have also started a database with all the members that are inviting us. We will try to see as many of you as we can – as soon as we are where it is warm!
WHAT?? NJ?? Exit 4! Missed you two. Great times ahead. Shame, I have a shoot tomorrow and also one on Thursday but you haven't stayed long enough. Give a shout when you come back this way.

I believe it's exit 3 of the 95 we are at - we should have taken the 4...
We will be back tonight from somewhere in North Carolina. From there we should have more time...

Way before I got into stock photography, what you're doing now was my fantasy existence: Driving cross country building a portfolio by shooting every random thing that strikes your fancy. What a great adventure!
As we discussed in Calgary, you have a place to stay in Little Rock and a high-speed Internet connection for as long as you'd like to hang around. There's usually just one human in my house, so three would be a welcome change.

Have fun on your adventure, you need to take photo's of brandon along the way and keep a journal, i think that would make for a great book. maybe you could get photos of brandon in front of famous landmarks and with interesting or famous people.

Hello everyone, we’ve just arrived in Smithfield North Carolina. We are still on our way to South Carolina where we hope to stay the rest of the week and maybe meet our first iStockers ? Brandon has been acting up today – we will write about it later in our blog on Vox. We’ll also let you know what we have been listening to…

Sounds like a very cool thing -- we've contemplated it many times, and we did make one aborted attempt that ended when our tent blew away in the middle of the night in a blizzard in the Black Hills. Don't believe people when they tell you winter camping is really fun!
I'm in Nebraska, and the weather is ugly today -- 6" of snow and now an inch or so of rain at 34° -- but you should have come last weekend when it was 70° and sunny

Sounds like a great trip, have fun.

Amazing. When i was growing our family owned almost the exact same van: a 1979 VW westfalia. Beautiful vehicle.

I didn't say this in my original post, but you are welcome at our house in Portland, Oregon. There is actually a really large group of us here. We get together regularly (I shouldn't say "we" because I miss the meetup every month because of work!)

In response to your latest blog post, it sounds like your engine is knocking. Use a higher octane gas (premium) to prevent it.
