Can anyone give more information on "preferred inspection" yet?

They havent given us these details yet.

That was discussed in the changes thread, but not said what would happen.

You can also do a colour search in your downloads in 'images' mode. And how long have we been able to edit categories of uploaded photo's for?

When does the new commissions kick in? I just got 3 downloads and each was the old commission rate.

When people buy the new credits and use them to download is when you will get the multiplied benefits. You should be getting your higher percentage, though, when the totals earnings shows up....

Doesn't anyone pay attention?

LOL ...

You'll only see a change in the commission when images are purchased with new credits. Since they've only been available for about 15 minutes you probably won't see any sales with them for awhile.

You can now use your credits to purchase items in the store *before* you hit $100 worth.

Hmmm the image counter, seems to count times when you view your own images.

Not a big deal, but could it be fixed?

Hmm I just went back and viewed the same pic again and the view went up again, only once though. I reckon there's a time lapse or something after a view, after which a reload is another view...

Anyone signed up for exclusivity yet? You guys read fast...

yes! but there were a few things I didn't like in it. iStock appears to have exclusive rights for any illustrations, photos, videos, code snippets and audio files I may choose to sell.

ot that I have any plans to sell any of that stuff, but its just weird that I can't go exclusive in a particular medium. iStock probably plans to offer all of those formats eventually, but what if I wanted to sell audio files from my website and photos from iStock, or give away a video file i made, for free? its weird.

@titaniumdoughnut

thanks!
I was guessing that after having read the inspector´s interviews, I think it was Donald´s wish of selling all that stuff in the future.

I guess I´ll sign up too. I know the basics from the neverending threads here and I don´t understand all that contract-language, so I´ll go for it.

EDIT:
I didn´t say "thanks istock" ONCE since I´m member here. Shame on me. It´s about time now I guess: THANKS ISTOCK!

Is there any way to review/printout the contributor contract, I would like to read it before sign it.
