I think an admin should address this issue. 3 diamond members have noticed it, so it is a big deal.

I got an answer from support - my image was bought with a credit purchased in 2002! They fixed the problem.

I can't imagine keeping credits around long enough for them to expire. Too many great photos to download around here.

Credits purchased before early 2003 (don't know the exact date) do not expire. A few people have credits from the old days when they cost $0.25 each. The new code paid 20% of $0.25 just like in the old days. We've fixed it so that we pay $0.10 for each of those old credits and popped a few nickels into the accounts of the affected photographers.

WARNING - I still have over 280 of these little buggers (they were what we got in lieu of money for past downloads when the credit system first started). The way I download they should still be kicking around in 2010.

BTW - I sure wish that those early downloads could be added to our totals. It never seemed to matter in the past but, with the new bonus system another thousand or so uploads to my total would come in very, very handy.
