I don't believe so. I'm pretty sure they said in previous threads that the exclusive payouts would only come from the new credits. Now, don't take my word on this, you should check in with support and find out for sure.

I don't see why it wouldn't be...

EDIT: Now I'm not so sure...I just looked at the Appendix that goes with the contract and it looks like no additional royalties are applied. Hopefully someone from admin will answer.

I think they should be if it's a bonus for going exclusive it should apply to all sales being as it's based on a percentage. Otherwise we would have to wait months to realy see any difference. Hardy worth cancelling accounts at other sites where you sell images

Sort of unrelated to the top question, but sort of fits the heading.

Medium Regular 0.40

I made a sale that was 40 cents for a medium sized picture. I'm not signed up with exclusivity and not eligible either because of my number of downloads. Yet this download wasn't a bitpass... so I'm a bit confused about it.

that's a new credit download

new small files are 0.20, medium are 0.40 and large are 0.60

more is added if you are exclusive

Oh, okay. I thought that for the non-exclusives they would stay the same as they were last year. Guess I didn't quite understand everything I was reading. I like that

Actually, the royalties stayed the same, but the cost of new credits went up to $1.00, so you still get the same 20%, but its 20% of $1.00 instead of 20% of $0.50.

well... yeah, the royalty percents stayed the same.

But yes, because of the price increase you end up with more royalty money in the end

Ron, did you get an answer to your question? I'm curious about that too.

Also wondering about the clause where it says we are not allowed to give away our images for free...does that only apply to stock sites? I usually give my models or my model's owners the pictures, for their use only of course, but still.

i'm pretty sure you're not allowed to give them away free for royalty free use. you can still use them in portfolio CDs or email them to family, friends, models, that sort of thing. but, i'm not promising i'm right about this.

I beleave that would be the case, yes.

You'll get
0.25 for small,
0.50 for medium and
0.75 for large
while your're a bronzer.

royalties are not applied to existing credits. only credits purchased after the price change on the 4th will pay out the higher royalties.

there will be a transition period while the older credits are being used up.

All royalties from downloads bought with old credits (that is credits purchased before Jan 4th 2005) are unchanged. This means:

Small: 0.10
Medium: 0.20
Large: 0.30

It's all part of the transition, which will not happen overnight. Be patient, people, and you'll start seeing those extra cents roll in soon enough. It's not all about making money here! Have some fun.

^ we are having fun!

We have a pool going to see how many times we can make you respond to the same question over and over and over again until you post a sticky note on the front page.

I think the count is about 378 or so probably much higher now and my pool entry is 639.
