![]() Posted Sat Nov 21, 2009 10:44AM | Come on who is not happy with not getting a payout for two weeks? Happy holidays and all that but it's money owed to us shouldn't we get it in a timely manner? But I guess we won't so again, Happy Holidays and enjoy the time off everyone! |

Happy holidays and all that but it's money owed to us shouldn't we get it in a timely manner? But I guess we won't so again, Happy Holidays and enjoy the time off everyone! The way I read it is that the special payout cutoff on the 18th will be paid on the 21st along with the payout requests from the 14th. Then the payout cutoff on the 31st will be paid on the 4th. If this is the case then there really isn't much of a break since the 18th cutoff takes the place of what would have been the December 21st payout and will actually be paid a week before a normal schedule would have been. Correct me if I'm wrong... |
![]() Posted Sat Nov 21, 2009 9:43PM | Ok, if that's how it works then no big deal. Happy holidays. |
Posted Mon Nov 23, 2009 8:54AM | ok, so that means I need to make $3 in royalties by Dec 18th if I want another payout this year.... I think that's doable. |
![]() Posted Mon Nov 23, 2009 9:03AM | I thought I understood this until I looked at the PDF calendar, but now I don't If I made a payout request before the cutoff on Dec 14th (I use PayPal), then can I make a second payout request by noon on the 18th (assuming a $100 balance)? I'd then get both of those on Monday 21st? |
![]() Posted Mon Nov 23, 2009 9:56AM | Hi All, Just to clarify, if you make a payout request on Dec 14th, you'll receive the payment on Dec 21st. We've also added another cut off on Dec 18th which will also be paid out on Dec 21st to accommodate for no payouts the week of Dec 28th. As well, for the week of Dec 28th, we've extended the cut off time to Dec 31st to accommodate everyone and those payout requests will be paid out as per the regular payout schedule starting January 4, 2010. (jsnover - you are correct!) Happy Holidays Everyone! |

Posted Mon Nov 23, 2009 7:22PM | / /I think I got this; but as a sugestion ... on the calendar, change the cutoff to say something like ... "PayPal cutoff for payment on mm/dd/yy". I assume a cutoff is paid on the next listed payout date; but it might be less confusing if it specified. Also, I frequently miss the community news postings because the home page always defaults to the forums(which I like that way). Site mail or email for something like this might help a lot of contributors and ensure everyone sees the postings. Oh, and although its generally against my philosophy to acknowledge the holidays this early :0 , Happy Holidays to all!
