For the fun of it I checked the percentage of new price downloads in my last 60 downloads and to my astonishment it was 33%. I did not except the ratio to be anywhere near that high this soon. WooHoo I'm a happy camper!
What is your percentage?

You piqued my interest. So far today I have 27 old and 12 new credit purchases. Thats about 31%. I would have never guessed this high so early!
Posted Fri Jan 7, 2005 9:16PM
Since the change, I have about 15 dls, no new credits. Zero.
Posted Fri Jan 7, 2005 10:26PM
I have one old download, no new
I'm balling my freaking eyes out if you must know!!!

I was amazed to discover a $0.60 commission from one image. I guess I misunderstood the changes to commissions. So... one old credit and one new credit today.

Well ive had 28dl's and 3 were with new credits, thats just over 10%. I'm happy though.

I´ve had 19 downloads since the update. 7 With new credits, 12 with old ones which comes to ~37%. Interesting: Except one large and one mdium, all new credits have been spent on small images. I wonder if designers will try to save their risen expenses by rather buying smaller images...

I've only had 11 downloads since the change, but 6 of those have been with new credits - 55%. Not bad at all!

I think I'm around 20% but I am happily suprised I really didn't expect to see any of them showing up this soon. I guess it's a nice indicator of how steadily people buy credits here and how many new members we must be getting on a regular basis.

I've had 31 old, 12 new, 1 half-n-half...
So, from my end, about 28% purchased with new credits so far. A much higher percentage than I would have guessed so soon.

At 47% 0f 18 with new credits. This is a good statistic to look at. Certainly higher than I expected also.

Nevertheless my downloads have decreased quite heavily with the new year while I always kept on uploading. I still have my daily downloads, but when I had 5-20 DL´s until first half of december 04 from then on to now now it´s continously going down to a max of 8 in Jan, usually 1-5...
I hope it´s just that many people are still on vacations.

17.1% here. That is 7 of 41 are the new credits. I see no pattern, but downloads sure were higher for a Saturday (today). It doesn't appear that the price increases have affected traffic in a bad way at all.
Does anyoone think that a more macro micropayment makes some folks think they are getting better quality? Maybe the admins will do some post analysis and let us know.

Since Jan 4/05:
27 DL: 25 old credits, 2 new credits. Not a great ratio, but I'm not complaining. I just want the total number of downloads to continue to rise so that I can become eligible for exclusivity.
Posted Sat Jan 8, 2005 6:06PM
7 downloads. No new credits.
I only need 447 more downloads to go exclusive. great.

24% of mine have been new but they are heavily loaded towards small size, so the return on the new image downloads is 43% more than the old, not 100%. However the number of downloads is still lower than my recent average, so the daily return so far this month is 15% below the November average. Hopefully its just a seasonal thing.
Edit: Wayhay! there goes a 60c sale, so that helps reduce the bias towards the small downloads.

Same with me. Very very few downloads these days, but one large DL for 75c (the only DL I had today) puts a smile on my face and hope into my mind

without doing the maths carefully I'd guess that between 20 and 30% of my new DLs have been coming at the new rates, with some 40s and 60s amongst them, so even over the weekend sales have been adding up more than usual, so thanks again for the payrise istock, it's a bigger % than I'll get from my employer this year!
