I am so sick of them. Thats it.

Hubby is watching one about some "expert" who will help 3 men identify their "flaws" and then sets out to put them straight.

Ugghhh!

How about accepting ourselves WITH our flaws!

I cannot wait for the end of them. TV needs a SERIOUS overhaul, thank God for the new narrative shows that are springing up.

ok, I admit, I loved The Mole.

They are definitely getting more and more outrageous and I tend to avoid them...but I do have one guilty pleasure..."The Apprentice". I like seeing what the tasks are, and often times the candidates are working with graphic designers.

lol, jah saw something like it, 2 so called fashion & lifestyle experts get invited by the friends of the "victim" so that she/he will get a whole new "look", they begin like almost? insulting those people, like what kind of sh** are you wearing found it at 99cents shop 6 years ago?
And it woulldn't be that bad for if those experts themselfes look like they could use some major changes, ...unless in america it's fashion for a girl/women to wear a Hawaian shirt with shorts?

I have never liked "reality" shows, personally. They seem to be popular only because there's two or more people trying to be nasty to one another. I can't wait until they go off the air. These shows are certainly not giving good interpersonal skills to those who watch them, and are impressionable...

You're very right! And I hate them too... but sadly these programmes are not aimed at intellectuals *slight smirk of sarcasm* like us. They will be around as long as people are interested in them and sadly lots are. That's the way of the world... entertainment for the lowest common denominator. That's why we also have such dreadful music, films, sitcoms and every other form of entertainment that you'd care to mention.

Stumbled across "Project Runway" on Bravo last night and rather enjoyed it. Even the boyfriend was sucked into it, against his will. I'll watch it again. To me, it's more of a fit with the more documentary-style reality shows, as opposed to the more sensational reality shows.

I enjoyed this as I am interested in Fashion and Fashion Photography. I love it like I love AMNTM. I don't watch ito to see people insult each other, I watch it for the designs and the photoshoots (on AMNTM)

Reality TV shows are part of a conspiracy so that we may all subscribe to cable.

I'm willing to pay $39.95 (AUD) a month just to avoid "Australian Queer Eye" or "Australian Idol III". Ass-trocious.

OMG, did anyone watch "Family Fear Factor" last night. Those parents were such bad examples of how to be good sports and at least two of those poor kids cried. What a shame.

I can't even bring myself to watch the previews for Fear Factor. I think it's one of the most gratuitously disgusting shows on TV today.

Also, I'm waiting for someone to get killed when one of their stunts goes awry. It's just a matter of time as they try to get more and more sensational.
