I am creating my own style (I think) - and would like to know what your thoughts are about this photo:

I like the style - it's funky and fun. I think the specific picture might benefit from a little more post processing though.

The yellow under the chin and on the headphone cord is a little distracting. Some of the bright red in the nostrils might be desaturated.

The models lips at 100% look a little dry - it might be better if they were smoothed out more. I think with this translucent look, odd skin details are out of place.

Just my 2 cents.

For what it's worth, I like the style. It's not always going to be useful, but it certainly has a neat artsy look. The shirt's pattern actually adds to the feel, where it would probably detract from a 'normal' shot.

I like the style as well. Very fresh, funky, sun-bleached and surfer-ish. Keep working on it, you are turning out great results.

I agree with Laura, if you just work a little on the "distracting" parts, where the color is too bright or too intense the style is definitely refreshing.
