Thanks for that lovely long post Nano jammed packed with lots of wonderful advice.
I am reading like crazy and trying to get my head around how to get the correct exposure in low light etc as I dont want to bklow this opportunity.

Just a thought. Is the father of the baby going to be present? If yes, don't forget to plan some emotion shots during important moments

Remember - if things get a little stressed in there - the photographer should always be prepared to lighten the mood with a little gentle good humour - some novelty "horns", a handful of dry ice and try announcing "I claim this child in the name of Satan" - that should cheer them up.
