Just checking if I'm the only one not receiving either acceptance or rejection e-mails anymore, in case the problem lies at my end. I actually miss the rejection letters, 'cause I like to know what wrong with or missing in an image that's been turned away.
I've checked my spam folder and confirmed that the e-mail in my profile is the correct one.
Any thoughts, anyone?

They seem to be working fine for me. If it's not your Spam filter it might be your ISP?

Ace, I just got one of both today.

After January 9th I started not getting any acceptance emails. I contacted support and they said that for some reason they had gotten some emails which had been sent out to me bounced back as unknown recipient. They showed me the transcript of the return email and sure enough, it says my email address doesn't exist, but it would keep trying for up to 5 days to send it.
I started receiving emails about 2 or 3 days later for submissions which had been accepted a week or more before then.
I thought that the problem had solved itself, because I had had some issues with my web host over a few days where all my web and email services went down intermittently, but they seem to have resolved and I started getting acceptance emails again.
The thing is, I had a photo accepted today, but didn't receive the acceptance email until a couple of hours later. I find this odd because normally I see the photo appear on the new uploads and the email comes through immediately.
I feel that the problem may still actually lie within the iStock outgoing system - perhaps the returning of my emails at one point has caused continuing issues with sending out further ones. I don't know.
If this is not an isolated case and it's happening to several people, perhaps if everyone affected contacts support then they may be able to track down the problem.

I haven't had a problem with this. Like UDD says, maybe you should contact support.

UDD, precisely the same thing with my stuff. I'm generally finding the whole site to be less robust than it was, with more frequent "breakages", so I imagine they are still working out some bugs in the system. And Swalls, I have written to support - over a week ago - and haven't heard back yet. I expect they're busy, too! Mostly I was just wondering if I was entirely alone in my misery!

Don't seem to have any problems here.
It might be your ISP's spam filtering system. The major carriers seem to block everything nowadays with all the virus scares. I don't have a problem with my ISP, they have a great control panel which enables me to set the filtering levels myself, many of the big names like Juno, Yahoo, AOL etc. don't offer such conveniences.

I don't have SPAM blocking enabled with my ISP nor my web/email host - I don't trust server-side spam blocking because it's not intelligent enough to know 100% what is and what isn't junk. I use the junk mail filter on OS X Mail which is far better.
Ace: When I contacted support about this issue I didn't receive the normal confirmation email with the support ticket #. Whenever I contact support that usually comes through almost immediately, but this time it didn't, and I then received a 'real' email from support actually responding to my question a couple of days later.
This made me feel that it seemed even more likely that there was some problem with the automatic email system.
I have several pics in the queue, so I'm waiting to see if when (if) they get approved, the acceptance email is received at the same time, or if there is still a delay.

Go to your control panel and edit your profile. Confirm if the email address listed is what you expect. Maybe it got corrupted during the site transition or something. Perhaps replace it just in case it contains a non-printable character.

I've done that. I'm getting the emails - just not all of them and those that I do get are coming in delayed.
Nothing has changed as far as anything that I have set up or running. These problems starting happening after the couple of days where the site went kablooey a few times and logged me out.

Again, UDD, ditto on the process. And I'm the same with the spam-blocking filters. Nothing is blocked at server end, only at my end, and it all started when the new site went live. I've also checked my e-mail address, but will try a simple replacement, just in case. Thanks for the idea, StanRohrer.
Hopefully, an admin is reading this thread, has realised that our e-mails to support may not have gotten through, and is looking into the matter as I write this.
