VERY nice! iStockPro forums are awesome!

I think it's a little weird how iStockphoto and iStockpro are so separate. I would think that an account here would at least get you an account there with the same username, automatically, and vice versa.
But that's not the case, so i did make sure to reserve "kickstand" at iStockpro. I would be unhappy if someone else started uploading photos there under the name "kickstand", and it would surely confuse buyers.
But then I discover that I can't post in the forums there without making a credit purchase. Well, I looked around and couldn't figure out how to make a credit purchase.
I would suggest that iStockphoto accounts and credits should be applicable iStockpro. A seamless integration would drive more traffic over there, I would think. If I could use my credits over there I would likely buy a photo there once in a while (even if the photos cost more).
But in the current scheme there isn't much incentive for me to choose iStockpro over Photodisc or Corbis, which is what my clients are using anyway.
Just my 2 cents.

I see the "istockpro" logo squeezed on the front page and in general on the photography section(s)
I personally liked the old buttons' type better, IMO the actual font reduces the overall quality look, and in general it looked way more pro before.
I also consider that the zoom & color search features were way more eye-caching on the right side of the site than where they currently are.
Right now they don't jump at your eyes as something "special".
It's great knowing that istockpro is also growing, improving, increasing their collections and adding extra features!
Don't take badly my comments, I know that most surely nobody cares about my opinion Just trying to give some constructive critique...

I have to agree with Kickstand's comments... Especially with regard to purchase. Not much incentive or ease for buying. Besides I already have access to accounts at Scanpix which get me Corbis, Getty, etc. What I am interested in is the iStockpro artists.
I am guessing that it will be improved over time, but a little more information to potential customers would be a nice thing.

Since we're kind of on the topic, (and I can't use the forums there as my account is not eligable) I was wondering if anyone can tell me how long the approval process is for photographers over at Istock Pro. I submitted my 8 samples about a week ago and was just wondering as I haven't heard anything back yet.
I like the new look but do agree that it looked slight more professional before, still a nice look though.
