Last September something special - almost magical - happened in Sutton, Quebec: Sutton-a-Lypse.
After a long road trip that took us all around North-America, meeting iStock members along the way, we decided to invite a group of crazy – beautiful – talented – fun people to come visit us in our home town.
The people that came to spend a long weekend with us were:
twohumans (Manon & Claude)
CreativeI, asiseeit, Martinedoucet, chrispecoraro, TerryJ, LesHoward, Zorani, pictore, Lokibaho, manonallard, ImageegamI, stray_cat, RyersonClark, nfsphoto, dragon, powerofforever, NicolasMcComber, Daxus, cglade, diane555, bobchap.
Zorani (Sanja), chrispecoraro (Shira), TerryJ (Chris), CreativeI (Oris and the kids), Buzbuzzer (Tony), ImageegamI (Carole), RyersonClark (Annie)
The Suttonians were euphoric then and still are. Many took part in this adventure, many are looking at the images in the Sutton-a-Lypse lightbox and many are looking forward to buy the images produces during the weekend. To make this event happened we had help from many volunteers, many special sponsors, the Town of Sutton and the Economic Development Board of Sutton (including the Visitor Information Office) to name just a few and we wish to thank them all.
Many groups opened their doors to us during the weekend including:
Vignoble Domaine Bresee
Le Pleasant Hôtel & Café
Town of Sutton : Sutton Museum, John Sleeth Center
Brigite Normadin’s Studio
We want to thank them all too!
Sutton-a-Lypse was about communities, the iStock community, the Sutton community. So we also made this event special by giving in the name of the Sutton-a-Lypse participants grants to four non-profits organizations that are involved in our community and that helped us make this happened.
With all that said, we wanted one more time to thank everyone that took part in this event and we hope to see you again soon – the ski season is just about to start here!
Claude & Manon
PS Keep the great images coming!

That would be a great area for a minilypse in the fall. Late September to early October before the snow falls there should be lots of gorgeous fall colors on the mountains.
Count me in.

We have added a preliminary attendee list and social tickets list to our main entry here. We will try to give you a little more detail about how we are visioning the minilype very soon, but right now if we have only a few more participants we believe that the minilypse will be on. Our objective is to have about 20 participants plus a few social participants.

Already from Toronto we have CreativeI but I don't know if she is driving. If not we will try to set up drivers from the airports around us.
We are working with people back home to get details about costs and a few other details. So F5 everyone.
