I am more worried than satisfied... I hope they will keep Macromedia products' interface instead of "adobezing" them....

I am more worried than satisfied... :( I hope they will keep Macromedia products' interface instead of "adobezing" them.... :(

Actually I'm quite sure they will "adobezing" them. They did it with CyberStudio (= Adobe Golive) - they will do the same with the Macromedia products - but... we will see.

Adobe Systems Inc., one of the world's largest providers of document-design software, will acquire Macromedia Inc. in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $3.4 billion, the companies announced Monday.

God help us if they do that... can't see it happening - too much going for dreamweaver, and the contribute angle is a must to keep on developing IMHO. More likely an integration of the two into Dreamweaver 'CS', possibly with Fireworks chucked in? Can't see freehand lasting though.

WOW! is right!

I had the news on wile cleaning the house when I thought I herd...WHAT!? rewound my tivo to see if I herd right

I hope if they drop any products that the owners of them get a DEEP discount for the replacing product.

I also hope we find out their intentions soon.
