March 24-26. You can get a free Expo Hall pass soon if you are in the area, but are not attending the full conference.

Cool! I'll have to wait a bit to commit. I'm actually working the whole thing for NAPP, and they work me way harder than iStock does.

I'll see if I can make Wednesday work, but if not, perhaps one day for lunch? They do usually give me a lunch break and we can visit the expo?

This is my city guys, should I make plans for Wednesday?  Anyone up for Disney? I can get at least 3 people in maybe more if I know ahead of time.  EPCOT has some great resturants.  There are so many great places to eat or I can make a great home cook meal cornish hen in wine sause (on of my Fathers recipes), but it is up to you guys I'll be happy just to meet!  Lunch will work for me too.

Evelyn thanks so much for the invites. That is so kind of you to offer to cook but let's just go out and have a nice meal. I plan on being really busy with sorting through notes and figuring out exactly what I can use and can't use. If there is any time, I would like to go downtown and shoot some of the buildings. I've wanted to do that for a while now. I have a feeling Denny and I are going to be worn out at the end of the days...we're old people and will probably have to do that another visit!


Rob...it will be great to see you again, hopefully you'll be able to take a break and have dinner or lunch. I'm up for whatever. It would be nice for all us to get together and talk shop.

Good question Evelyn...I wish I had an idea. Just need to get a feel for what will be happening that week. Been to plenty of Photoshop seminars but haven't attended Photoshop World before wish I could be a little more specific.

Rob just pointed me to this thread after I posted one of my own. I am SO excited about attending Photoshop World. I have been to lots of NAPP seminars but could never afford the big event. This year my stock sales (not all at 1S, I have to admit) are paying the bill. How great is that?


Rob, it's so funny, but in my head I always call you Sylvia, Didn't realise you are a guy! How will we know when and where to meet up with other iStockers? I have only ever met two in my entire microstock career (18 months).

I'm sure I can thank Donald Gruener for that. Luckily he never leaves his little Critique forum, so he'll never see this.

Well, we should set up a meeting time/place. There is a "tweet up" for all NAPP members who are on twitter, which is a pretty loose identification, no secret handshakes or anything, on Tues eve at the Rosen Centre Poolside lounge 7:30pm on. I'll be there at soon as I get off from work. When I'm not in drag I look like this:

Thanks, Sylvia - er, I mean Rob. We'll try to make it. We're actually staying 10 miles from the conference center, but we are renting a car, so it should be doable.
