Public lightboxes with only one contributors images (except one other tagged on to make it public)

I was under the impression that this was not the done thing to do.  There seems to be countless public lightboxes out there that just showcasing one contributor. 


In the most popular lightboxes the first two are like this.  In the newest lightboxs there is one named after the artist who took the images!


I can see how these serve the artist/contributor but I don't see how these serve the community.  Is this allowed?

By rule, it is not allowed, but it is unfortunately tolerated.

yes, confirm it's not allowed and if you ask to add your image in the lightbox of these people the respond that the lightbox it's only for his image.....naaaa

I have told admin of a few ppl that do it and they have always told me that they will contact the culprits to remind them of the community spirit but they still seem to do it.

If this was really something that IS didn't condone, a simple software change would prevent it. The first step, before that even, would be just to make the policy crystal clear. So I'm guessing that they really don't care one way or the other.


I think it's a disservice to the community, and to buyers in particular. But that's JMO.

I reported one public lightbox that was devoted to a single model. How that ever got to be public, heaven knows.
