As part of the plans we told you about for 2010, we are proud to welcome a new set of images into the iStockphoto family. Exclusive+ files will be some of the very best images from the Exclusive collection chosen by Exclusive artists, available at a slightly higher price point.

We introduced the Exclusive collection in January, consisting of photos and illustrations from Exclusive artists and now we are giving Exclusive artists the chance to select what they think are the best of the best of these photos.

Exclusive+ files will go live next week and you will be able to see them in search results and on file close-up pages with this icon: exclusiveplus

Within the context of an open system in which contributors play a major role, we strongly believe that offering our exclusive artists the possibility to select their strongest content is the way to go. Thanks to all the artists who will contribute photos to Exclusive+. We look forward to showing off your great work to the community.

What are the limits in terms of percentage of our portfolios we can add? Is it the same for all or based on canister level?

It'll be cheaper and there is no admin to approve the files, you just add them rather than nominate them.


Hopefully they will get some similar BM boost too, though who knows.
