Doesnt it seem a little odd to keep the percentage permanent? It would be very easy to make a valuable incentive here but instead the next lise gagne is going to get 15 percent.

The key difference between here and there is that all images that sell a certain amount get upped in price. Here will be a mixture of 4 prices levels (V, E+, E, "main") for things at the same sales level.


I think the thing that needs to be factored in when making our decisions is how likely it is that there'll be a substitute at a lower price. Something with a really great expression, or gorgeous light or a particularly stunning model or... has more likelihood of withstanding the challenge of other files at a lower price.



But how do you factor that in.  If you are talking about your own portfolio, that's one thing.  If you are talking about every image on IS, there is bound to be one better.  Every exclusive has some percentage to put in of what they think is their best images.  They are not all going to be on an equal footing.  That's why I think it should have been called Photographer's Choice.  Then people would have a better idea of why a certain image is there,  I did not leave many similars in my own portfoluo.  I UL one pretty big series because to do otherwise would have been foolish.  They are all essentially the same format, which I think is different than other presentations.  I expect that there might be a lot of people going to be complaining about what people choose to UL.  There are some pretty new people at exclusive levels that don't have any outstanding photos, according to someone's judgment.  If the ones I have chosen do not sell, I will remove them in 6 months.  So far almost every DL has been an E+.

^ If youre using IE, try Tools > Manage Add-ons, then disabling some Google Gears stuff. Worked 4 me.

Disable Google Gear in your browser if you have it installed.

If you dare... seriously I dunno - try it - it may work fine once you switch it back on again.

Goggle gears on Icon does not show.  Must be fun for the programing staff to figure this kinda thing out.

I have read a lot of the comments here and I just have this to say:


Thank you iStock, for giving me a voice and a vote (actually 111 of them!) when it comes to pricing my own files.  This exclusive plus thing generates a large amount of warmth in my cynical heart for iStock and its business vision, no matter what kinks there might be along the way.  My hat is off in surprised gratitude.

I am feeling pretty unhappy with exclusive+.  I changed my most downloaded file to exclusive plus and it went from being downloaded several times a day to once a week! Now it's 'stuck' in this barely downloaded purgatory for 6 months until I can change it back - by that time it will have lost a lot of rank in the 'best match' category. Totally bummed

Well, what did you expect? There are over 12,000 results for "woman stretching", so there are many options offered not at the higher price level.
