Posted Wed May 12 3:41AM | By coincidence I just finished reading all three books that start with 'The Girl with Dragon Tattoo' - loved them. Nice development and there's still that air of menace about the guy wielding his knife and fork like they're weapons. Why isn't he interested in food, gorgeous woman or champagne? I still think one of the interesting links in this sequence is how the people DON'T interact. Technically, I have no idea how you got that shiny table with perfect reflections to replace the tablecloth. |
Posted Wed May 12 3:53AM | Jean, that part was easy. Stuart (Torack) used this image by Ivar: He added the tablecloth. I used the image without tablecloth. |
Posted Wed May 12 2:55PM | ^^ You shouldn't have told me and I'd still be thinking you're a magician (and of course missing what were the really difficult bits). I could never do this! It would take me a year to strike one blow. Fun to watch and learn though. |

Some will say I still can't do it (the judges, usually) but I think I am getting better. (Edited on 2010-05-12 15:26:32 by crazychristina) |
Posted Thu May 13 8:15AM | Hey guys, things are looking great, lets see what Torak has in store for us! |
Posted Thu May 13 10:09PM | This one is gonna be tight. |
Posted Fri May 14 1:47AM | You can do it Stuart ETA: Please try not to DQ. They take so long to get restarted. In fact one battle never did get restarted despite the players wanting to. I guess it's because they weren't stars. (Edited on 2010-05-14 02:32:48 by crazychristina) |
Posted Fri May 14 7:55AM | Yah, I don't plan to ever DQ. I would rather submit a 'single white pixel' [sic] as a blow, then to be DQed. |
Posted Fri May 14 1:02PM | Insulting the waiter was probably not the best idea, but hey, the brain was undercooked... |
Posted Fri May 14 1:04PM | Nice work Stuart. Up early I see (or haven't you gone to bed yet?). Now to get to work on this. |
Posted Fri May 14 1:41PM | That's great! I like the blood on Mr Psycho and I love the guy with the sausage and heartburn! |
Posted Fri May 14 7:18PM | Heh heh heh, that blood was actually supposed to be "red wine" that the waiter tipped over his head. think I got the colouring wrong there. |

I reckon it's a glass full of blood, particularly if you look athe viscosity in the glass itself but I do live in one of the best regions of France for red wine production so perhaps it's New World wine |

Posted Sun May 16 7:40AM | This started so peaceful and now it's just getting cool weird. Got to love the twist. Looking forward to the next blows |
Posted Mon May 17 6:46AM | No blow yet hey Christina? Will you be pulling an 'all nighter' for this one? |
Posted Mon May 17 7:00AM | No, uploading shortly. I'm a bit too old for all nighters. I'd like to add a couple more minor elements but can't find just the right images. There's actually quite a lot of work for not too much result in this one. Oh well. About to generate the versions and upload. |
Posted Mon May 17 7:10AM | OK, here it is. Our sausage eater has some charm, obviously. |
Posted Mon May 17 7:26AM | Damn, how did I do that? Sorry for the obvious error - I'm sure that wasn't there when I checked it. |
Posted Mon May 17 8:46AM | Hahaha! Brilliant concept Christina. Didn't see that one coming. |
