Make sure it's nice and clean. You want to submit press ready quality or better, I don't think that rough sketches will be very flattering to your portfolio.

Convert everything to solid line vector images and fill in the color with solid fills.

rodrigofoca, you've got a good portfolio started. You should definately scan and convert your sketchs into some commercial vector work. Your "Sexy Pin Up Girl" and "Brazilian Funk" illustrations are great! I want to see more of your work!

Zuki, I dont think hand sketches could be good in solid lines. It could work If I re-draw everything with tablet. But, well, I can try

Wow you weren't kidding when you said you would upload some new files! They look great. I especially like the soccer ball illustration, the varying weight in the lines give a good sense of depth. Take a look at the soccer ball here.

Also there is another illustrator with a great "comic book" style by the user name of cpuga. Check cpuga out as well

You mentioned in another thread that Gen 13 was a big influence for you; it shows and in a REALLY GOOD WAY. I love your stuff.

Now if only we could have some art reminiscent of Jay Anacleto, the world of RF illustration would be turned on its ear.

Yep, i saw his work and think its great! Those sketches of mine were made in 2000. I have lots of new job here, but i dont have enought time to upload them In time, I will do it.

I have an employee that draws manga style and everything much better than any other comic drawer, but he is trying to understand the istockphoto system. Its kinda dificult to him cause he doesnt speak english, but i swear im trying to help him!

Im glad you like my art, and im sure you will like his art too

Hugs
