I am a Rogers customer in Ottawa, Ontario and this is not an isolated problem. Therefore, with all due respect, would it be more efficient to tell all Rogers customers within this forum when should we be able to upload again? The problem is similar for many of us.  I did follow up on the provided link but did not succeed with the uploading process.  Thank you for your support.  I did send an email to Contributor Relations but it does say that it could take 5 days before I get a response which would limit my uploading process. This has happened to me three times today while uploading images from 48MB to 60MB. After all keywording upload page goes blank and tells me its done.   Tremendous waste of time.

Got it working...I am happy now... I did change  the DNS server to use 208.67.222.222 as per Joy posted message through your provided link and I can upload now!!!!   Denis

I've been getting a lot of blank pages today, though unrelated to uploading, I've gotten this on my profile, the uploads page, my uploads, and even the forum a couple of time. I have a feeling the server's error log is writing volumes this morning.

I uploaded 2 images last night. One went through without a hitch and the next one (about an hour or so later) prompted blank screens both when it finished its initial upload and then again when I finished keywording and clicked on proceed (note that the title was not too long, it contained no repeated words, and I didn't have any duplicate keywords). However the image uploaded successfully. I was using firefox on windows. I tried DeepMeta a few days ago with no success, but that was probably before the latest code-push. I will try it again and see how I go.

What problem at loading  Firefox and IE

I've just had a few similar occurences.


ETA: Okay, I just deleted all my iStock cookies and the problem stopped. Don't know if it is a coincidence or not. I am using Firefox 3.6.6 on WinXP.

Uploaded 2 images last week but was getting the blank page error. So I clicked on "edit" about 5 minutes ago (11:50am EST) and updated the information by adding the title, description, keywords, etc. When I clicked "submit" it prompted me to Open or Save the file_upload.php file. So that got me nowhere. I'm using FF 3.6.6 on a Mac. Perhaps I shouldn't have updated to FF 3.6.6? Or should I use Chrome instead?

Ok, uploaded a new image at about 12.10pm EST (took about 3-4 minutes to upload) then copy/pasted the title, description, keywords and chose the categories. Clicked on "submit" and got the below error message. Was using Chrome 5.0 on same Mac OSX 10.6.4:

I m living in Russia ,Irkutsk. Ive got the same problems :


During upload , 18.07.10 about 9 AM (Canada) I saw blank page ,
file size -3.76 mb
Blank page appeared instead of final page ( it says usualy \"thank you for uploading\"), and its
impossible for me to upload the file!

I am in Canada. I can't upload at all. As soon as I click the button...Firefox can't find the server at uploads.istockphoto.com.

I'm in Ireland and i'm just getting the "Safari can't find the page" everytime. Using safari on a mac.

- the time it happened


16.40 GMT


- the size of the file being uploaded


8MB


- how long you spent uploading the image (2 minutes/2 hours?)


4 minutes from start of upload to blank page


- the URL of the blank page

Edited to add. This doesn't just happen on all my new uploads, it also happens every time I try to edit anything that's already been accepted. I just (16.50 GMT) edited the keywords on file number 13598665 - and immediately got the same blank error page when I selected "save" (although the edits have been saved, despite the error message) Likewise, although I get the blank page when uploading, the uploads do go through, i just have to go back to my upload page & they're sitting waiting to be keyworded & titled etc.
