Is there a way to see how many images are in queue after the F5? I can't seem to find it.

New limits are good but.......I don't understand why if you want to re-submit a rejected image (I had one just for "....file contains an unnecessary addition of blank space..." i.e white background) it counts as a new submission, and therefore diminishing your weekly upload amount

I previously posted my appreciation for the new limits but I now have to agree with Slobo; the queue is so slow, I just hope it's because they had all of sudden a big increase in submissions...

There would be no incentive to be careful and thorough with your initial submissions if resubmits did not count against your weekly total.

If you uploaded an image with too much white space, you've done something wrong and the image will be rejected, just like it would be for having any other defect. And just because you can correct your mistake, doesn't mean you didn't get it wrong in the first place.

The system needs to reward those who get things right and deter those who get things wrong. It's pretty logical really.

If contributors were aware, that raising the upload limits, would actually slow down inspection times how many would applaud  it.

I want the same service as before(2/3 day) not bloody slower.

Thanks for your understanding.

BTW- i also want my newly  accepted files to show up in my portfolio..Wait for it........I-M-M-E-D-I-A-T-E-L-Y.

You "hope" you've got a big increase in rival images coming onsite?

Gosh, I had submissions 5 days ago, and they havent been inspected yet.  At the rate I am submitting, the increased upload limit will not affect me at all..... This new policy is really geared towards supporting full time photographers with nothing else to do but taking and uploading new stock. I suppose if it is ur bread and butter, u need to sweat it out, and the more stocks the better (although with the F5, new submissions will not have immediate views now -- Latest Uploads link being pants, and the constantly dynamic updated thumbnails of new submissions all banished for reasons unknown)

Eek.That does seem quite a long time when, exclusive contributors, have had files inspected within 48 hours in the past.

When i use to click on the thumbnail and see that i could not edit the file because it was in the inspection Q i use to be content. Now even the time between these getting inspected is screwed up.I had 6 uploaded on the 16th and they all went into the Q(no editing allowed) on the 20th.4 passed ok yesterday and two remain.

Why can't Istockphoto try and inspect files within 12 hours when the contributor can't edit them.
