I would expect the inspectors not travelling to Tokyo to work more hours..When the Lpyse is over those inspectors will return to normal hours and the inspectors who are back from the Lypse will eat plenty of spinach and attack any backlog with gusto.No worries !

But still, that's only a hand-full of people uploading close to their max each week (if even). I'm not against lowering limits, I just wonder how much it affects the queue as a whole. Probably affects more on the non-exclusive side, and if that's the case does it impact exclusive inspections?

although i can never used up all my entitlement each week, but i hv certainly work harder to up my upload for obvious reason before 1/jan/2011 kicks in. however the acceptance rate has been forever rising, loads of rejections.  And for new applicants whos triy to get in is a uphill task, i hv got friends that got rejected until they are dejected.     

For fun (lol ) and because I am a nerd ,  I took a 10min average snap-shot of approved / recent uploaded photos from 2:04 - 2:14pm this afternoon.  Maybe it was a slow time of day : But god bless the people working on and approving the file que if any of this is remotely close.


 


Avg = 2.6 Approved / min  , 0.5 Exclusive Approved / 1min


 


Lets take the peak I saw instead ~ 4 files approved a minute.


IF average acceptance rate is around 60% (guess)


THEN ~ 6.4 Files total are  actually Reviewed / 1min ,  0.87 Exclusive Files reviewed / 1min


 


So knowing that,  to keep the # of IN to OUT basically flat  that means that less than around ~5% (~4250) of the ~85,000 total contributors are actively stuffing their que totally full on a week to week basis.


Assumptions :


4250 contributors stuffing their Que totally full every week : 4176 are Non-exclusive , 74 are Exclusive


Non-ecxlusive


@ Max ~18 uploads a week ( lowest ) 


Total = 7.5 uploads per minute from Non-exclusives


 


74 Exclusives


@ 60 upload a week (lowest bronze) 


0.44 uploads a minute


 


Any way, Ive wasted enough time... back to work.


 


 

Upload limit for non-exclusive Bronze looks exactly the same to me.

I suppose I can lock this thread now considering it was originally started on 2010-07-30.
