ok it's a love story, the title "undead love"

Death II, the father of Geila discovered that his beloved undead daughter was in love with a human. In this chapter he tried to discover the lovers identity. She tried to escape with her love letters so her father will never know....

Good return Saba, I thought for sure she got a bad grade at school and Dad was in the background conjuring up some corporal punishment.

/OK. Had to go quick. Won't be around for a few days. Here the return.
"The light of love"

R1 -B1 : young samurai leaves his love to meet the challenge of war.
R1 -B2 : (paraphrased) Death II father, discovers undead daughter's love.
R2 - B1 : The light of love guides the daughter to bid farewell to her love, but bound by honor she sheds only a single tear.

OK Sabatex, your turn! Do it up!

I love the background and the skull cave. Usually people are trying not to carry over the same element from your previous round, as it gets a bit repetative, but still, very nice image indeed. Cheers!

Using the same carryover doesn't mean it has to seem repative. This is one of my favorite battles of all time and it uses the same carryover for the entire battle.

Yes, I know, they did it on purpose though, . I remember reading some BEC comments on one battle, and I understood that the judges do not particularly fond of carrying over the same element over and over, but again, I might be wrong. Veterans, any word on that?

I know I'm new to the cage, but I actually like the carry over in this particular battle for two reasons.

First: It's consistant with the story, while the girl is still there, she is carrying this whole story line right now, and doing it well.

Second: She's been changing to carry that story line. :} So it's less about her being the same from round to round, and more about playing with her in a way that continues story.

Of the BR matches, what I'm loving about this A LOT is how well both players are continuing a story so fluidly. It speaks to my illustrator heart. ;} Props to you both, these are beautiful and the ways you keep retaining elements while completely changing them is both clever, and very well done.
