![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Mon Nov 22, 2010 5:44AM | Well I guess it could have been a worse tie up. I am wondering who they are pitching it to. Is it for Ferrari owners to match their car or for rich photographers who don't have given up waiting for Ferrari to launch a car with a big enough boot(trunk) to carry their lighting kit. http://www.hasselbladusa.com/news/hasselblad-meets-ferrari.aspx |

" Um... I don't think that's what they wanted to say there. Have to agree lost. Not sure who the camera is for. "I'm not getting enough attention with my hasslblad, better get a bright red one!" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Mon Nov 22, 2010 8:01AM | Makes sense to me as that is exactly the same sort of camera you see all the photographers using when they're photographing Ferraris at speed around F1 circuits. And making it red and adding the prancing horse will make it even better for doing that. (Edited on 2010-11-22 08:03:24 by kelvinjay) |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Mon Nov 22, 2010 10:59AM | Not for everyone, but all these high end limited edition cameras sell to collectors who may never use them, just the investment. I agree, it won't work any better then the "cheap" Blads. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Thu Nov 25, 2010 10:22AM | wow, that camera must be fast!!! |
![]() ![]() Posted Fri Nov 26, 2010 7:02AM | Saw it about a week ago and I just noticed that Mamiya already did that about five years ago with their special coloured limited edition of Pro TL: http://www.mamiya.cz/press/Color version ProTL.pdf Todays blad doesn't even look like the classical ones, unless it offers the classical mechanical design with the waist level finder and all I still think I much prefer Mamiya. Yeah but that Hasselblad is a thousand times uglier. I think if you're gonne produce these stupid designer limited editions, they should at least look good. |

![]() ![]() Posted Mon Nov 29, 2010 8:18PM | Wasn't that long ago that Hasselblad offered some 503 versions in a variety of colors -- red included. I thought those looked cool. And, if money had permitted, I'd loved to have bought one for my brother-in-law who is both a firefighter and an accomplished photographer. But, this version starts out being a bit unattractive; and, that isn't helped by color. |
![]() Posted Mon Nov 29, 2010 11:43PM | The fine little gears and cogs inside this camera is made by Ferrari, as is the fine Prontor shutterblades inside the optics, its also engineered for environmental friendly fuel, the digital back, that is. |
