IS should reconsider now

People, please read some of my posts.  You are totally confusing yourselves.  An increase in the istock charts database in the number of Exclusives doesn't mean more Exclusives joined or signed up....It means more were FOUND.  Period.  You are using the data to draw conclusions that aren't there.  iStock admins are the only ones with the complete dataset and, unless things have changed, they're not sharing. 


There are literally HUNDREDS of existing contributors (Exclusive snd non-Exclusive alike) missing from each of the months of the 2010 data (and every other month) from the istockcharts database.  There really aren't that many outside Agency contributors added to the site so far...I can't even think of ten of them, but there might be a few more than that I may have missed.


I'm not at home this week or I would post exactly which months those 138 "new" exclusives actually joined iSP.  The majority were pre-2010.

Dear Lobo:  Would you please unlock my earlier istockcharts thread so that debates about the validity of the data can be contained there?

Its absolutely amazing how many people here are spouting off partial stats from online sites that do not have the full stats Admins and iStock Accountants have at their disposal.

Do you REALLY think the Admins are seeing this thread and saying "Gee, our stats must be wrong? Look at what these guys are saying about us." ROTFL

C'mon folks. Only iStock Hdqtrs has the full story here ... and they will decide based on inside info.

The rest of us should make better use of our time by getting back to what WE do ...

I would need twice as much RCs in the period from September if the Kelly's statement was true. So my number was more like 33%, which is not close to 50%. You can divide the targets by 2 and take September's numbers, it will be the same, if you think, that the statement holds. In that case I would retain my % and now it looks like I will be a bit short.

I'm going to give everyone an early present and lock this thread so we can avoid feeling the need to post WTF WTF WTF over the break. I think it's safe to say if there is going to be any changes to this or any feedback from TPTB we will have to wait until people are back in the office.

I appreciate the discussion and understand the concerns everyone has regarding this issue. I just don't feel leaving this thread open will provide any comfort for the masses so it's getting the ho ho hammer.
