Compared to last Dec, downloads -10% Royalties +58%


2010: Accounted for 50% of my total earnings since joining in May 06. I wonder if 2011 will double this? Doubt it.

I'm a bit dissapointed with Dec status. I had really low DLs - only 19. $$ was also down regarding Oct and Nov. 

Why is this thread so uncharacteristically slow? New Year headaches anyone?

December was my 2nd BMY, and downloads were up on last year, though not good when compared to the rest of 2010.

This was a really bad month.  I checked last year stats...what's funny is I have a lot less downloads for the entire year but over all I made more $$$ this year.

December second worst month of the year.

I wish I knew. The Boxing Day Download Raid has thrown a spanner in the works and I can only guess. Despite the unrealistic Boxing Day spike, though, it wasn't too bad.

Thanks are definitely due to whoever has updated the stats already today - it's much appreciated.

They had to if they were going to cut our royalties in a timely fashion

Pretty much as expected- fairly strong month up until the 24th, after which it died off.

I just thought I'd start the year by being nice!

Dec was all right,considering. Some good days - hoping they don't get rescinded as they were Vetta downloads, but as they were earlier in the month they might be OK. $ up on last Dec, down on this November a bit.

Compared to last December, this December was down 28% in downloads, but up 10% in $.


However, I did take a hit on the credit card fraud over the Christmas period, so I don't really know what my figures for December are.

Worst month of the year for me, both dls and $$, and just slightly down $$ on last December (including counting in the credit card fraud dls).

I'm fighting back against these royalty cuts in my own way, by not getting any downloads. They can't mess with me.

My figures for 2010 are distorted by a very good March. Since then, $$s have been much the same as last year despite more uploads; and downloads are on a steady downward curve, with Dec 2010 down 10% on Dec 2009.

Worst month for DLs since April 2009 which is my worst month since going exclusive.

$$ were okay because of an EL earlier in the month but still below what I would consider "average".

I wasn't impacted by the fraud, my portfolio went to sleep after the 21st. Fortunately that was about the time I hit the RCs to keep Silver level royalties in 2011.

I don't know why, but December was BME for me. I don't have any Holiday images, so I was really surprised about such a good month. Two big EL's helped a lot.

I hope this trend will go on in January.

December was better than expected, 2nd best month ever. January BME again? I hope so. Best wishes for 2011 everybody.

With the fraudulent DL's, compared to previous BME (nov 2010):

DLs: +4%
$$: same

Without what I think are fraudulent DL's, compared to previous BME:

DLs: same
$$: -15%

It was a good month, considering the downloads went down drastically in the 4th quarter of the month .

As for 2010, it was my first full year on iStock and it was beyond any of the expectations I had when I started here in July 2009. Looking forward to what Jaruary and the new year will bring.
