Worst month of the year - down $ 34% from BME in Feb. Steady Decline. Download numbers as low as my 5th/6th month on iStock (2005) with a minimal portfolio. 


2010 started off so great, who would have imagined. At this rate the choices are becoming clearer - maybe?

Pretty much an average month for the year, overall.


Compared to November -


DLs : -30%
$$s : -19%


compared to December 2009 -


DLs : -33%
$$s : +47%


So the year-on-year $$s increase is still holding up, but I am concerned as to how long that will continue!

All-though 31. December royalties are not visible yet in chart, December was the best month of 2010. But it still misses December 2009, which was my BME.

Worst month for downloads since November 2006 when I had 218 images in my portfolio. Now have 1318. Four years on and still flat out in reverse. Enough said.

Compared to last month (excl. Boxing Day dl's): DL's: -8% $$: -35%

Compared to December 2009: DL's: -25%   $$: +3,6

2010 compared to 2009: DL's: -23,6  $$: +62% (in spite of 33% less EL's)

December was my BME. I achieved Bronze and went Exclusive in August, so I don't have a lot of previous months to compare to. I also have quite a few holiday images.

This December same as last December in dollars. I was exclusive this fall also, so I made more per image. Maybe PP will give me more cash flow. I think the number of images in Istock is growing but not the number of buyers. It could be interesting this year. Happy New Year

Worst month of the year for $$$ and worst month in several years for downloads. If the trend continues there is no future for me at iStock.

Yes - WMY for me too - The last three months, my sales have fallen off a cliff... It was going really well up until the end of September.
