$$ were okay because of an EL earlier in the month but still below what I would consider "average".

I wasn't impacted by the fraud, my portfolio went to sleep after the 21st. Fortunately that was about the time I hit the RCs to keep Silver level royalties in 2011.

Historically December has always been a weak month for me and history strikes again this year.

Ever month this year was better $$ wise than last year with the exception of December, and it was $300+ LESS than last year.

This has been my 5th BME in a row for both $$ and downloads with each month being significantly higher than the last.

December was worse than any other 2010 month by ~22% in income & 20% less in dl's. With the week of Xmas and New Years I expected it anyway. If I were to compute this by days and weed out the days I expected no sales (xmas eve, xmas day, xmas weekend, New Years eve, day and weekend), my stats would be pretty well aligned with the rest of the months.

Same here. DLs were down to Autumn 2006 levels when I had an awful lot less images. Moneywise the worst month since Dec 2009, which is to be expected.

Here at Istock I'm down 17% from December 2009. For the entire year I am down 11% at Istock. So my sales decline here accelerated toward the end of the year.


My worst month at Istock since Dec. 2008.

I have to say that I had a pretty good month in December. My DL's held constant with October and November DL's, but my $'s in December were BME for regular DL's and I had a bonus of my first-ever EL plus a Vetta sale.


I'm noticing dl's of larger sizes from buyers of my images. I also think that I've fined tuned the E+ images in my port where I am realizing stronger income per DL.

What does fine tuning involve? Mine are locked for 6 months so any changes back to the main collection have to wait until that deadline passes.
