Android robot logo

I wouldn't usually ask about branded stuff, but I noticed this about the Android robot character:

"Can be used, reproduced, and modified freely in marketing communications... When using the Android Robot or any modification of it, proper attribution is required under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution license."

Any idea if that would make images similar to the one linked below (ie. showing a robot that's very similar to the Android logo, but not an exact copy) acceptable on istock?

I suspect not, but that is only a guess.

That's not something iStock can enforce as part of their RF license.
