Oh boy, you've already got a drop of blood, and I did a face plant with a fish flop out on the slopes this weekend. Bruises and cuts all over -- we're a couple of scrappy contenders!

High tea is approaching here in Calgary, dish it up.

OK, First Blow, now bear with me while i explain...

The inspiration behind this is from the Russian Constructivists, using 2 shots of buildings i took in Sydney the other year, a couple of my Japanese book textures from my portfolio and the font comes from dafont.

*edit* Oh, It seems we can't use Portrait and are stuck with landscape, either look at it as you are, which is fine, or tilt your head 90º to the left Lucky I was working with converging lines and tall buildings!!

I really like this and I actually like it on its side more than a portrait piece. Adds an extra dimension, good start

Unfortunately, the judges usually don't see any of the forum posts. They just see the images. Unless they feel compelled to read the forum after seeing the images.

I see you left me the layers, I've been a good boy and flattened it all before i start work.
The File we have to upload should contain 'my' original layer and 'your' flattened layers above it... thats as far as i can figure out from the rules

This is getting a bit manic now!
The wording in it is "We build it up to tear it down" & "What we build will never fall down"

There's a pucture of the Roof of Beijing Airport and a shot of the ceiling of a Museum in Tokyo, both taken on my travels 2004
I think I need a cup of Chinese tea after that, Illustrator for the typography and Photoshop for the composition.
