Howdy all!


So... most of you know I'm quite the food freak, I am truly obsessed.
Last year my food writing was syndicated by FOX/Tribune Media, and my obsession has kept on growing ever since.
Well that obsession has turned in to a gig where I will be featured as the Seattle area Food Expert on our local FOX Morning News show.


Today was the first of many more live on-air appearances to come. We presented Chef Larry Monaco, he's worked everywhere from Hollywood to New York City - spending 2 years working closely with Chef Tom Colicchio. Chef Monaco demo'ed how to sear scallops while I talked about a culinary class giveaway that I am running on my syndicated food column.


I'm super proud and happy to share with everyone, the support of my community of friends here at iStock has been overwhelming. I've truly appreciated the congrats, the pep talks and the jokes to keep me smiling.

Excellent work and the link Tom posted to your blog is much appreciated. A new source of inspiration to my culinary thirst for brilliantly executed plate presentations and new items. I gotta get me some of that Halloumi. Looks very interesting.

Your lighting and food styling is among the best I have seen.

Liza, yep there will be many more of these to come (and I am getting my ass in the gym STAT! lol)  I have segments lined up in to Summer at this point.  Diane... who knows what the future holds hehehe


And Garry... thank you so much.  It is true, this is my passion and I have worked for many long years dedicated to food.  It's been the most incredible ride for me to this point and I'm so looking forward to what the future holds.  If it is just this, where I am at right now... I would be happy  And damn straight never trust a skinny cook! (with a few exceptions... me NOT being one of them LOL)


So happy you guys are enjoying the tips and recipes and stuff.  Nothing makes my heart swell more than to hear someone tell me that they prepared one of my recipes and that they loved it.  it is the next best thing to feeding them myself and seeing that look on a person's face when they taste something that brings them happiness.  I want my food to make people happy, I live for that


Again... thanks a bazillion for the back pats and the kicks in the backside hwen they have been most needed.  I love how people come together to support and celebrate one another here... it's the best.  You guys are the best
