Awesome, Jodi! The list is nigh complete ...
@EMPPhotography, the Sir David is about 30 minutes from the airport. Taxi is fine, but I can probably fetch peeps if they arrive at reasonable times and my schedule allows. Let me know closer to the time.

Just a quick round-up from the attendees - what kind of equipment would you be bringing?

Value Added Tax, as Steve said, a sales tax. Some countries give back some or all on leaving, some don't. Not sure here.

Thanks Rye I did some digging and Cape town gives it back!

Yes, value added tax at 14% on goods and services. Some items exempted like basic foodstuffs. Beer unfortunately not. When claiming back at the airport, take the cash or charge your Visa or Mastercard with the payout. Mail me directly if you need any other info at jaco at wordsource dot co za.

I'm shooting with my Canon 5D11. Thought I would be able to get a sailing yacht to shoot on, but the owner sold the boat, building a bigger one and moving it to Spain. The nerve of them huh? lol

Is there anyone single that wants to share a room with Aneese? I booked an oceanview at Sir David for my husband and I and he wants him in another room...lol We booked a week from Monday to Monday

I didn't know dates were finalized?
Posted Thu Apr 14, 2011 11:15AM
I think we can pretty much take it as read that those dates will stand. They were chosen to dovetail with Istock's other official events following a month or so later. Those who started booking accommodation and flights were perhaps a little quick off the mark, but I don't see anything changing.
