Vetta Video Content

OK, I followed the directions to opt in, but there is no Vetta Video tag to opt in with. My stills are in Vetta, does that mean my videos are opted in too?
Or am I missing something? I have Vetta, Agency, and Partner Program to choose from. It just says Vetta, not Vetta Video.

OK, so it seems that if I'm in Vetta stills, I'm automatically in Vetta Video. The recent email sent out , that Directs you to the Vetta Video tab, in Preferences, is confusing.......Since it's not there, in my Manage Collection page.

So I guess nobody is checking this thread, that was the link in the email that was sent out.

Seriously, iS communication is in that case really bad. Sending out mail with instructions how to opt-in in video/vector Vetta with no option to do this by instructions is really weird. Can you give us the answer how to do it?

In response to the questions above regarding the Opt-in option not appearing - 


When a contributor has previously opted in to Vetta for photo, they are automatically opted in to Vetta Video as well, which is the reason the opt-in check box is not appearing. 


Any issues with exclusivity that may be interfering with Vetta Opt-in should be addressed with Contributor Relations through the email address artists[at]istockphoto.com


And for anyone that is having difficulty locating the Opt-in check box, please follow the instructions below. 


- Select My Account at the bottom left of any page


- Go to Preferences


- Go to the My Uploads tab


- Under File Collection, select Manage Collections


- Under the Vetta Video title, select Opt-in

On my page I don't have a Vetta Video title, mine just says Vetta. That's where the confusion came about. By reading other threads, I did learn that since I'm in Vetta photo,  I'm included in Vetta Video.

HD vs. SD Content in Vetta Video


(A question surfaced in another thread on this topic - and we will make an effort to update this thread as the home base for any Vetta Video information and replies from the Inspection Team.) 



The approach we are currently taking with HD vs. SD in Vetta is that we are generally just including HD content and SD when it is united with HD in one file. The exception we have been making is for older files from the collection that are truly remarkable, but only exist as SD. 

Hello iStock - I write here because you have not yet solved the issue that I wrote about - It is not possible for me to apply as exclusive contributor because there is still a message saying I have to wait over 80 days to apply again - now it is very close to may 31 so I am asking you one last time - can you help me with this?

Is it possible to nominate videos for Vetta which were already accepted into the collection before Vetta for videos was introduced,, and if so, who do I contact?

I'm a bit confused re nominating files. I think I get to nominate 4 per month (?) - do these have to be at the point I keyword them or can I wait and see what the inspectors pass on first?
