This thread is the official place to put any known bugs. If you know of an existing bug, please post it here so that we can accuratly deal with the problem. There are a few rules associated with this topic.

• Do not comment on Bugs, feel free to create another topic, but simply state the issue here. We want a place that is clean and uncluttered to collect potential problems.

• Once Bugs are completed we will remove your post. We may give some additional information on the completed bug, but eventually old bug posts will be deleted.

• If you have valuable information in regards to an already posted bug please feel free to post. The admins may decide to delete the thread and add the comment to the larger bug explanation.

• Remember bugs are not features, do not request new features in this section.

• If the post is not relevant, not fixable, or does not quality as a bug it may be simply deleted.

AudioGate: when using stinger/cut/crescendo/arpeggio as a keyword these are consistently unchecked and you have to go into the file after upload (once the player shows) to re-check

FxProSound: I can add also delay/distortion/musical. And what is interesting - some of them uncheck only when they had more than 1 meanings checked. It's connected with not displaying all meanings in search. Type one of them in search box without chosing meaning - it shows only ONE meaning as default.

Public audio lightboxes bugs:
- only 2 credit files are counted to public lightbox creation limit
- in public lightbox search - audio lightboxes file counter shows only amount of 2 cr files
- typing proper lightbox keywords in public lightbox search do not give any results with great majority of public lightboxes (check 'sfx' and you have only 14 results.

When mono files are uploaded and processed they are often (always?) only heard in one ear, usually the left one. The istockaudio-voice is heard in both though. Here is an example.

I'm not sure I correctly understood your concern (my spanish is not so good)
but I guess you found some blank page files among your last acceptances.

ETA: seems to be solved now. thx

dont know if it's related to the recent "missing orange speakers" case, but I noticed that:

from a file's closeup, clicking on the "Also in: X lightboxes" link on the bottom of the "stock audio track details"
if the lightboxes are audio-only, then they're just listed, but they are not click-able!!!

(when we have mixed filetypes lbs instead, they're represented by a click-able photo thumbnail that links to the lightbox, but if there's no photos, since we got no thumbnail, there ain't no place to click...

I'm adding some screenshots I took today, cause I realized the text explanation is quite confused, so once again:

On a file's closeup, by clicking "here" (located on the bottom right of the page):

lb_closeup

We get pages like these ones:

lb_detail_2

AND

lb_detail_1

as you can see, some lightboxes do provide the orange speaker (or a photo thumbnail as well), so we can click on it to browse them, some other ones have the orange speaker missing, and there's no place where we can click to access the lightbox.

I get this message:
Errors were encountered:

  • The file does not appear to be a wav file.

Please ensure that your submission follows the guidelines provided by iStockphoto.

Then I've tried with older accepted audio files and same thing happened so the problem is not my files.

what happen ???

Decently often, when playing files from a search result or portfolio view the file currently playing will cease to automatically pause when a new file's play button is clicked.  This results in files playing over top of one another. The files also will quit responding to their pause buttons when this starts to happen.

No genre info on the "Stock audio details" section. There is only "Genre: --".

When I click on a link which should send me to a related file I often get a 404 error message "page not found".  Occaionally the link will work, but as soon as I get an error message, none of the links will work. See Heartbeat (Short Version) for example.  If I click on the link to Heartbeat (Full Version) the link might work or I might get a "404".  I've gotten the same results on 3 different computers and 2 different browsers (FF and IE).

Just to clarify a little:  The thing is, the first 2 or 3 links work initially, then the 3rd or 4th gives the 404 error and then none of the subsequent links will work until I restart the browser. Same result with Firefox or IE on multiple computers.

I noticed this one lately, seems to happen since the new site updates (the credit card payment feature) have been introduced:

when we open an audio file closeup page there's a loading time for the preview player, lasting few seconds, and shown by a grey progress bar located in the player's "timeline".

Well, if we click the "PLAY" button BEFORE the preview has fully loaded, the preview doesnt start from 00:00, instead it skips the first few seconds of the audio.
Instead, if we patiently wait for the progress bar to reach its 100%, then clicking play we have a correct preview starting form 00:00.
Not a big bug if we talk about short audio clips which load faster, but try with an elaborate file! With elaborates the preview loading time is long enough to have this thing occurr.

I noticed this weird behavior using the very latest firefox version, both on Mac & PC.
