excuse me, why the result come out so late?

Pretty much normal for about two weeks. Picture three busy designers (judges) a busy Che (steel cage ruler extrodinaire), each judge outlining his/her decision by email, then loaded onto the site. These things just take time!

Man... you guys sure did put on a show... and straight from the start the circus theme pushed that thought...
R1V1 possibly my fav of the whole battle, loved the use of colour here and the look and feel of movement... simply first class.
R1V2 Very creative return, awesome idea the execution was quite good but a few areas stuck out for me... now I know how hard a crowd can be as i had to do something similar for a project... but the perspective didn't really match the rest of the design. The clowns face also looked a little cut and paste, but this could also be caused by the make up... but really what this lacked in execution it was certainly made up by creativity.
R2V1 so technically challenging this desiugn was always going to be difficult to execute. Although it looks awesome, I really wanted this to be the best design I had ever seen in the cage... I mean it had the recipe to do that. I think if anything it is a tad over done, would have loved to see some things toned back slightly mainly the background, but even some of the line work on the skater....
R2V2 My score sort of reflects my feelings, but my guess is this was a rushed round as the quality is inferior to the rest of the battle and what I know your capable of.
R3V1 Once again i love the colours, im not sure about the green on the guys face but hey... overall it works. also thought id note love how you used the glasses.
R3V2 awesome work here... my only critique is the blueish tinge to the shadows sort of ruins it a little... but as mentioned AWESOME.
R4V1 Now we are talking... this is the moment i think the battle really started. Once again i think this design had all the elements to be a hall of famer but i feel the bike was a little rough, kind of looked like a painting and didn't fit the rest of the design that was super crisp.
R4V2 I think you found you niche with this style of design, very nice.
R5V1 awesome work, but once again tiny little flaws hold back a totally awesome design... the isolation of the jet skiers could have been a lot tighter they have a bit of an outline that sort of makes them look cut and paste and not part of the scenery.
R5V2 WOW, awesome... now im totally being a jerk here, but usually in landscapes the further the mountains are away the lighter they become.
Overall my judging is a little picky... but I really thought you guys were very very close to having the battle of the year... a little more work here or there.
but overall the battle was first class
7 - 6 - 5 - 5 - 5 = 28
7 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 4 = 26
Hey Guys, good to see you both back in the cage - it's been a few months.
Well, it looks like I'm going to take on the mantle of Simon Cowell for this battle, it started of promisingly - but really went downhill (in my eyes).
R1: Nice work from both of you, pretty evenly match in this blow. I found the coloring on the bull a little solid and saturated compared to the guy. Love the transition to the clown very clever- I liked the coloring - the composition just felt a bit flat/lacking depth.
R2: I'm really struggling to find any meaningful carryover, apart from perspective, nice concept, it just needs a little more work to pull it off - not sure why the background light trails are there. Nice carry on of the circus theme, but this one could have been much stronger. Oversaturation isn't working for me here.
R3: You've both lost me here, as Mr. Cowell would say "You've got a soulful voice, but you just haven't chosen a song that plays to your strengths" You both have skills but this round does not show any of them - I'm calling this the 'Brain Explosion' Round
R4: I think you've got anice composition here, but the finishing and isolation needs a lot more attention. It's great you're thinking about how the sun affects the elements you're adding in - you just need to refine your technique here a bit more - the added ambient lighting is a bit heavy handed. PCC, nice simple composition, lighting in the sky isn't carrying through to the other elements, and there's not much energy to the piece. Mist is a nice touch.
R5: Nice PS work on the addition of the snow mobiles, lighting on the foreground face it contradictory and the isolation appears a little sharp. It's a very static piece with all that action happening, I would've loved to see those snow mobiles coming out towards the viewer to give the blow a bit more life. PCC, this one is just a little too, umm.. ho-hum for the cage, serene is all well and good, but this one just seems anticlimatic with no real flow or mojo.
Sorry guys, not trying to be hard ass, I've just seen you two do a whole lot more in here, as both of your first rounds attest...
7 - 7 - 5 - 6 - 7 = 32
7 - 6 - 5 - 5 - 7 = 30
What a cool outside adventure battle with the occasional gymnastic clown thrown in
this battle was evenly matched and I think Bomadics had the ever so slight edge over you Pink Cotton. it's always great to see a new battle in the cage.

wateye you are right it shouldn't take this long, but im working hard to get the procedure changed, and hopefully soon this can be fixed.
but I like the way bomadics put it but just to re-affirm this is an area of the cage that we want to tidy up... I thank you all for your patience in the mean time

at least the drop matches the glove, no? I'm all color-coordinated! I had a total blast! (no pun intended!) and I'm totally amused that no BEC commented on my bobble-headedness of the Indiana Jones round (thanks for that, lol). Really appreciate your comments, particularly re: the issue w/crowd (honestly had no idea what I was doing there) and the mountains color (could have adjusted that).
congrats, Andy! and thanks again for the battle!

Congrats Andy!!! and good work Dawn! I don't know what color of mask you would have got if you had won, but this red stuff at least suits the color of your glove
