Wrestlers > ARE ALL STILL IN A MESS, it will take me a while to come to grips with the wrestlers (literally !)

What do you mean with the wrestlers are still in a mess, we do not have mrs for those Razlav showed ( i would be interested in the one in the center) or does it mean that you can not sort them out?

Folks please realize that there were +30 photographers shooting most of the models.

+30 photographers and about +350 models.

The only models I can correctly identify are :

1. University Campus students ... NOT the wrestlers though (they were not from the campus).
2. Models shot at Hotel K.K.Royal at Jaipur.
3. Models shot at our Pushkar Resort (on the first day) ... not the ones in the Pushkar fair.
4. The three Classical Dancers in Delhi.

Please do consult me if you have any problem in identifying the models in any of the above four categories. As you all are aware, I had NOT shot any models besides those in the above four categories. So, please don't rush me any other photos for identification ... your own guess (and photo-matching) would be much better than mine, as you all had actually seen and shot most of the models ... unlike me !

Normally MR:s are uploaded without visual references and we are trusted not to cheat. This can be no exception. Due to the fact that some MR lack traditonal adresses and date of birth or signature visual references were needed for the approval. However once iStock has seen the visual reference together with the MR in question and aapproved the MR, they can have no more need for the visual reference and we should be able to treat the accepted MR as any other MR.

There were maximum rejections amongst wrestlers. And, if you can't spot the wrestler you're looking for, it is either rejected, or you're unable to identify your particular model from the photos pasted on the wrestlers' MRs. If you can't do it, I can hardly do it myself, as it is you ALL who had shot the the wrestlers and not ME ... as I was in the college arranging various other shoots for the day. Please do have a look at my post above. When I had asked for good-sized thumbnails for various models, the response from the members was generally poor ... and only a few of the members met the obligation ... and I had to make do with whatever thumbnails were provided to me. That's that. And, this is precisely what I mean when I say that > the wrestlers are still in a mess !

Well folks as I read some of the posts above, it is indeed quite apparent that quite a few of you have fairly strong and invidualistic opinion about the correct procedure to be adopted for uploading those MRs that are without any visual reference. I have repeatedly asked you to wait till you receive the visual references from me. I can't do any more than that. Please do proceed as you feel like. I will consider my job as finished after I have mailed you the missing visual references. Thank you.

Thanks Pradeep - you've done a great job on what must sometimes feel a thankless task.

Hello everyone.

Please understand that this is a public forum. So all the model releases (with phone numbers, addresses, etc etc) have been available for anyone who wants them for the last 20 minutes. This includes people who were not at your event.

You are going to have to come up with a more secure way to address this. You can not post the model releases as you have in the forums.

Sorry.

Hi folks, Pradeep and I miscommunicated on how these releases would be distributed to contributors once they had been approved at HQ regarding the attachment of the reference photos of models holding the releases. I can see this is causing some grief, so I think we have a solution that will fix the problem for everybody.

I've deleted the original zipped folder of the release package from the drop-box account that they were in. We (HQ) will recreate the jpegs for those releases so that both the reference photo (the person holding the release) and the release are together on one approved jpeg. We will then re-upload two different zipped folders:

1. will contain only the releases that have reference photos already on the face of the release (wrestlers, students, etc.) for anyone who hasn't already downloaded them

2. will contain only the releases where there is a reference photo of someone holding the release, with the image attached as part of the jpeg. This will allow people who already have the rest of the package to only download the ones they need.

After this is complete, we will e-mail everyone who needs them the link, it will not be posted in the forums.

Pradeep, we'll coordinate with you to make sure we've covered every single release that needs a reference photo. This should all be done by tomorrow.

Does that sound like an acceptable course of action?

Lobo, Pradeep & Adam : thank you so much.

Let me be clear now : Pradeep's involvement with the model releases portion of this event is now complete.

iStockphoto will be sending the final releases to all attendees very, very soon indeed.

And this thread is going Downtown.
