Hi Folks,

We'd like to take the FAQs that are stickied at the top of this thread, have them translated, and formalized in the FAQ section of our website. Before we do that, I'd like to get your feedback on whether there are any glaring omissions or other topics you'd like us to cover. I'm going to keep the FAQ locked to keep it as clean and accessible as possible, so instead if you have any comments or extra questions for us to address, feel free to post them here and I'll do my best to include them in the final draft.

Thanks!

Tell contributors how they can find there images on the partner sites... " Bertie Basset"

Tell contributors that they can nominate new files for the PP sites when they upload a file for inspection by clicking in the box.It will only be available for sale on the PP sites for 18 months before it can be sold on Istock as well.

Tell contributors that there keywords, attached to migrated files, will be altered/ammended.

Tell contributors if they bend down and stick there head between there knees they will have trouble reading the FAQ !

Should we also tell contributors to review the FAQs before they offer suggestions?

- How do I find my files on the partner sites?
You will need to search for your images on the partner sites using the search function. You can search for your files on the partner sites by entering either your iStock member-name, your first and last name, or your business name (if you have one registered with iStock). You will need to put the name your images appear under on the partner sites in quotations in the search bar, For example: John Smith will search for his images by typing "John Smith" (quotes included) to the Thinkstock and Photos.com search bars.

- Who can participate?
Any iStock contributor (exclusive or non-exclusive) can participate in the partner program. Exclusive members can only have content that is over 18 months old simultaneously on iStockphoto and partner sites. If an exclusive member wants to have their content that is younger than 18 months old in the Partner Program, it will be deactivated from iStockphoto until it has reached 18 months of age. Exclusive files that are older than 18 months old can appear on both iStockphoto and the partner sites at the same time. Non-exclusive files can appear on both the partner sites and iStockphoto at the same time regardless of file age.

- Why do some of my keywords change when my files transfer to the partner sites?
The partner sites use the Getty Images Controlled Vocabulary (CV). While iStock and Getty Images have similar CVs, they are not identical. Some of our keywords map across to different keywords when they transfer to the partner sites.

So I assume you are bent down with your head between your legs. Thanks for confirming that that is going to cause issues when trying to review the FAQs.

New content can go directly to the PP sites.Just add that fact to the FAQ.Thanks.

Another thing that would be helpful is to tell contributors how to use the CSV tab above the royalties chart.Since we lost a way to track PP sales when they altered the profile page to accommodate the redeemed credit totals it's the only way to see monthly PP sales and totals.

The microsoft spreadsheet has all the information about daily PP sales and money earned. It's a useful tool that PP participants need to be made aware of IMO
