Non-Vector's illustrations?

Hi there! I was just browsing some portfolios and I found some really cool illustrations... but some of them are jpg files!. Are these old works or there is a secret mode to submit jpg illustrations?


Just wondering! :P

Hi lyoshasvetlana, it's kind of confusing but in order to submit a raster (JPEG) illustration you'll need to upload it as a 'photo'. Unfortunately we only have an 'Illustration' upload for vectors, though we do accept non-vectors too.

You can always submit your raster illustrations as your photo samples, though it can sometimes be tricky to get approved that way. If you do run into any problems you can contact our Contributor Relations folks (artists[at]istockphoto.com) for more info. Hope this helps!
