Did they also mean to only leave " Renovated P " as their description?

It shouldn't have needed adding as it has been reported by me and others several times already. It should have been fixed a long time ago. But to add to the bug - I have had files with the same problem with an ampersand in the Caption. I have asked Support to correct the error, which they have done, but the error has subsequently reappeared. So the bug is not confined to uploading.

REPORTED - thanks I'll link to this info too. But if you could please link to some examples - that would help.

Please don't edit those posts KaleviTamm.

They are useful examples. Thanks.

If you have an åäö or whatever in the description of a regular file it cuts of the rest after that character. If you use it in an editorial caption it rewrites as code.

It also screws up the web page header, which may or may not have an adverse effect on Google searches.

I don't know if this was already mentioned?

I just received an answer from the support and in the mail there was a link:

To reply or comment, visit:
http://istockimg.com.istockphoto.com/contact_ticket_comment......

which is not working because it has some weird thing in front of istockphoto.com. If you delete this part, you can reply...otherwise not.

Along with most people, I get logged out every 24hrs.

Hiya folks (tacky greeting i know)... well just dropping by to let you know that i am still having problems with the process of ordering my free exclusive moo cards, here's what happens:

I go to my profile> free business cards from moo> send my content to Moo... and then it sends me to the product page and it does not recognize me, its like just anyone just happened to browse to the page from moo products, not to the page where i can choose the images i want in my cards. Somehow istock does not connect properly with moo.

I see that this is reported in the thread, but im not sure if this is the way that others have experienced this issue.

Thanks

Help please

Moo Card discussion in the Exclusive forum

Take a look there. This isn't a discussion forum really. We are trying to keep things focused on actual bug reporting so we have at least one place in the forums to keep track of things.

Apostrophes are showing up strange in the caption section for my most recent Editorial upload.

Macy's and Jessop's appears as Macy's and Jessop's after I have submitted the information. I am sure I will get a rejection for this but I have cancelled and tried again with the same results.

File 17483453 if it is possible to help me out.

And another bug, in my above post the backslash that I am trying to describe and did type in does not show up in my forum post! This makes my above post look silly.

The site's mishandling of HTML character codes makes everyone's posts and image descriptions look silly. Check onfilm's post (above, on this page).

Some of my light boxes have images missing.  There are little rectangles and if you click onthe, you get some diistorted images.

Monthly CSV data is wrong since "deactivated" and "reactivated" files have the same sign (- minus) resulting in wrong totals.

btw, Jan, I'm not sure if you mean the images on your profile page that link to LBs? None of those are working/showing on your page, but that's on your personal webspace end rather than iStock's.
