Description edits not "sticking"

I have two files that I'm trying to edit the description to (the description was cut off mid-word when it was uploaded, along with the lightbox link). But, for some reason when I change it, it looks okay at first but when I check it the next day it goes back to the original half-sentence description (and I've tried to change it several times now). But what's weird is that they are showing up as the full description in the loupe-view when you hover over the thumbnail. (They are the newest "steak/asparagus" photos in my port.)

BTW, I uploaded it with DM, but have tried editing the description with the web-interface editor.

Is this a known issue, or is it just me?

Are you using any special characters in the description? Like stressmarks and such. They wont work in titles and descriptions. In titles they will write as ascii codes and in descriptions they will just cut everything off so I guess you should try to write the words without the special characters for now.


ETA: guess it's the sauté something that makes it go wrong?

I don't think it is only about especial characters...  I have the same problem!


The description on the loupe view of a file in my portfolio or in a lightbox is not updating, just in the file page!

Since I made lots of changes the last days because of the new referral system and also updated some broken special character descriptions (which by the way iStock knows about since more than 2 years and still does not bother fixing...) I just checked some images. To me everything looks normal and the changes are visible on the image page as well as the preview from search page.
