I see some websites using IS pictures in large format as backgrounds / wallpaper. A picture search engine then finds these images and invites other people to go there or to download them for their own use. Of course this latter action is illegal, I'm not sure if it's illegal for the search engine to direct people or if it's only illegal for the people to copy/download the images from the legitimate websites. In any case, my suggestion is that the picture purchase license agreement should specifically state that if the picture is to be used on a website above a certain size then certain measures need to be put in place for the protection of the picture. I'm no expert but there are certain things that a webiste designed can add to give some measure of protection.

The license needs to be modified to only allow unmodified image use up to 600x400 pixels. Anything larger needs to have text or something on it. There is no need for anyone to have an unmodified 1200x800 image on their site.
