Ok, this is how the battle is going to pan out...

we are going to try to illustrate a book together...

The book is...............

The Hobbit

The rules are as follows...

All black and white...

mostly illustrations/drawings

Since I am going to have to hustle to get this first one done and it
sets the tone for the future sections...I will just do the first
chapter...and then we shall choose something from the next two chapters
consecutively since there are 19 chapters...

We thought about doing the Simirillions...but thought more of you will have read this...and we are glad that there is not a block buster movie made of this yet.

All in all should be a fun battle...er...collaboration...and we shall see who gets stung and who gets Precious!
