Thinkstock Royalty Increase - When?

In the February Newsletter an announcement was made that in March 2012, the Thinkstock royalty rates would be increased. An Image Pack 1 for a non-exclusive, for example, would go from $2.40 to $4.00. The full table was published here.


When I look here I see that the royalty increase has not been implemented yet (under Partner Programs the Thinkstock Image Pack 1 is still listed as $2.40).

Can we still expect higher Thinkstock royalties for sales starting April 1st?

sorry ... kidding of course .... when I saw the words "royalties increase" and "April 1st" I could not resist ...

I know, I know - I saw this coming when I wrote the post. Sadly the joke is on us.


Actually, it does not need to be announced any more. That has already been done in the Feb 16 newsletter:

"Thinkstock Royalty Increase

Contributor royalties at Thinkstock.com are being increased. The per download royalty on all Image Packs will go up. The increase should take effect a month from now and we will update the contributor royalty page once the increase takes effect. ..."

The deadlines have passed. No postponement of the deadlines has been communicated. I expect to be payed accordingly.

I wuold think the increase will happen, probably they just forgot to update the page of the royalties.

March has passed, the royalty increase at Thinkstock has not been implemented and a number of newsletters have appeared with no additional information on this subject.

What is the status on this? Will the royalty increase at Thinkstock ever be implemented?

TPTB are probably hoping we eventually forget all about it or give up asking.

Your kidding right? They are actually going to ignore there own statement about our money. Real professional outfit here.

I wrote a support ticket asking about this.  I'm still not sure what the answer means.

Quick update before the weekend. I'm working with the dev team right now to sort this out.

We're still waiting for some more info on this but will share it as soon as we have it.

Sunday September 30 wil mark a month since the last update. When can we expect to see the raise that was announced 7 months ago, and to be implemented 6 months ago?
